A movie that impressed me πŸ’—

Watching movies has been my hobby for a long time. I have seen a lot of movies. Gangubai kathiawadi is my favorite movie among them. Gangubai kathiawadi is a Sri Lankan Hindi language biographical film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and produced by Jayanthilal Gada. Alia Bhatt plays the main role.

Through the story of this film, a women becomes a powerful underworld character. The film begins with a teenage girl being sold in to prostitution. In this story, she swears that one day she will buy the prostitute and rule the city. The story of the movie also shows how Gangubai strives to make that promise a reality. She drew media attention to the plight of woman in Kamathipura.

Towards the end of the film, Gangubai is helped by a journalist. Through this, she is able to ask Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first prime minister, to save Kamathipura and draw attention to the rights of sex workers in the country.

One of the things that is reflected in this film is how men need woman to get the power the want. In my opinion, many things about women's rights and the rights of sex workers have been brought in to the audience.

I watched every second of this movie with great interest. Everyone in today's society has something to learn from this. This showed that one can do anything if one has encourage. This is really a good movie making when there are scenes that make her cry and laugh at the same time. The beauty of this film lies in the way Gangu's character transforms through different stages of her life. Here the world is built around her, not with her.

I also really liked the scene where Gangubai is traveling in a car with a young adult. On the one hand, it is an enchanting romantic scene. Although this is not the first Bollywood film with a female lead, this film has stuck with me more than any other film I have seen.
